We are very happy with the performance of the Solex. The process is very simple and we haven’t had any issues with cooling or bridging.
The Solex [salt] cooler was purchased in 1995. This cooler has been relocated 3 times in this time span. This unit has been so trouble free. When we decide to retire the unit, we will definitely approach Solex for the replacement unit.

Capable of cooling bulk solids at temperatures of up to 2,000°C using water or air, with virtually zero emissions and substantial opportunities for waste heat recovery and reuse.
