Leadership Team

Gerald joined Solex in 2014 with a comprehensive background in process engineering. He has led our company’s global business development efforts in industrial product lines such as chemicals, metals, minerals and sands. Most recently, Gerald championed Solex’s energy portfolio, which included creating tailored and process integrated solutions designed to improve our customers’ energy utilization and efficiencies.

As Chief Financial Officer, Harmen is responsible for all corporate accounting, controlling, tax and finance activities. Harmen holds a degree as Executive Master of Accounting, and has a wide-ranging background in financial services and in the technical industry. Prior to Solex, Harmen was CFO of BlueConic and a Financial Manager for Apple.

As Chief Sales Officer, Igor Makarenko is responsible for the strategic direction of global sales for Solex Thermal Science. Igor first joined Solex Thermal Science in 2010 and has since helped to solidifying the brand as a globally recognized technology provider of heating, cooling, drying and energy recovery solutions for solids, gases and liquids.

Shannon joined Solex in 2010 and has since supported multiple departments within Solex. This comprehensive knowledge allows Shannon, as the Chief of Staff & Corporate Secretary, to support and advise the executive team in strategic planning, decision-making, governance and corporate initiatives with a wholistic view of the organization.

Backed by nearly 10 years of experience at Solex, Sven currently leads the engineering team to deliver innovative heat exchanger solutions. Sven excels in strategic planning, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement to meet the evolving process needs of our customers around the globe.
