Proppants
Heating and cooling proppants
Coated frac sands, like resin coated frac sand, requires preheating or cooling during the coating process. Solex moving bed heat exchange technology is widely used for these processes as it does not degrade or alter the shape of the coated frac sand. The frac sand moves through the plate-based units with slow and controlled velocities, preventing product abrasion or degradation, retaining the integrity of the coated frac sand.
Proppants used in our technology include:
- Frac sands
- Resin-coated frac sands
- Ceramics
- Resin-coated ceramics
