Solex to exhibit at CastExpo 2022

Solex Thermal Science will be exhibiting (booth #905) at CastExpo 2022 from April 23-26 in Columbus Ohio.

Held once every three years by the American Foundry Society, this event draws thousands of foundry professionals for four days of business, networking, and knowledge-sharing. Exhibits, presentations, and featured events at CastExpo incorporate every major alloy, process, and related foundry and manufacturing topic:

Scott Harris (Regional Director, Americas) will be on hand at booth #905 to discuss how moving bed heat exchangers (MBHEs) that use vertical plate technology to indirectly cool foundry sand offers opportunities for improved production efficiencies and product quality. Benefits discussed will include:

• Reduced scrap and rework of castings/core molds.
• Reduced costs for expensive binders and additives.
• Lower potential for personnel exposure to respirable crystalline silica.
• Mitigate sand segregation which helps to maintain the consistency of AFS-GFN (American Foundry Association Grain Fineness Number).
