Water quality and scarcity have become a global concern, to the point that the UN has declared water scarcity as one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century.
The fertilizer industry is experiencing these water issues first-hand, especially for producers in water-starved regions such as the Middle East, India, Africa, China, Russia and parts of Europe. They are looking for a solution that allows them to still manufacture a finished product with consistent quality, yet also reduce their reliance on continues supplies of fresh water.
