Solex brings indirect sugar cooling technology to Japanese market
Application of cooling technology showcases Solex experience in sugar applications
CALGARY, Alberta – Solex Thermal Science, along with its agent Correns Corporation, is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with Nippon Beet Sugar Manufacturing Co. that will see the first application of Solex’s globally recognized sugar cooling technology in the Japanese market.
The proprietary indirect cooling technology will be used to ensure that sugar produced at Nippon’s factory in Bihoro, Hokkaido will meet the requirements to be free flowing through the storage, packaging and transportation process.
“Solex is proud to be able to play a part in improving the efficiency and reliability of Nippon’s manufacturing processes. Controlling the temperature of the sugar at the end of the process is an important factor that guarantees a high-quality final product,” says Jean-Marc Reichling, Global Sales Director with Solex Thermal Science.
“This collaboration with Nippon wouldn’t have been possible without Correns. They are instrumental in our ongoing efforts to expand the scope of Solex’s solutions within the Asia-Pacific market.”
