Solex to present at Export Development Canada's International Business Forum, April 28-29, 2021.
Solex Thermal Science will be presenting at the Export Development Canada's upcoming International Business Forum, scheduled to run virtually from April 28-29, 2021.
Entitled Canadian Sustainable Business Solutions: Achieving a Net Zero Future, the forum will feature a cross-section of Canadian and global companies discussing their respective paths to innovation.
Representing Solex will be CEO Lowy Gunnewiek, who will be speaking on bulk solids thermal processing and, more specifically, the role indirect heat transfer technology is having in reducing plants' operational carbon footprints. Themes discussed will include:
- Current areas where energy use and emission reduction exists
- Opportunities for thermal energy recovery, storage and re-use
- Thermal processing and its connection with ESG principles
Lowy Gunnewiek, Chief Executive Officer, Solex Thermal Science
Gunnewiek joined Solex as an independent director in 2018, and became CEO in 2019. He has more than 30 years of experience as a senior executive and professional engineer in the international energy, mining and minerals and infrastructure sectors. He provides leadership in corporate direction and strategy, and is responsible for providing best-in-class technology solutions for Solex’s clients.
