Health & Safety

At Solex Thermal Science, health and safety are cornerstones of our culture and values. In addition to working to world-class safety processes and procedures, we are committed to continually building a strong safety culture for employees, partners, agents and the industries we serve.

To support our commitment, we have issued the following policy:

Health and Safety Policy

Solex Thermal Science Inc. recognizes the importance of respecting all of its resources and assets, both human and material. Our foremost concern is the safety and well-being of our workers, others who enter onto our company property, and the general public. Our safety culture is integral to how we act, and the equipment we design and fabricate is a reflection of this.

In fulfilling this commitment, Solex will provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment that will meet or exceed occupational health and safety legislative requirements and industry standards for all of the different jurisdictions that we work in, with Alberta’s occupational health and safety legislation being our minimum acceptable standard.

Solex’s management, supervisors, employees, and contractors equally share the responsibility for reducing accidents and absenteeism by performing their jobs in a safe and healthy manner as prescribed by Solex’s health and safety manual. Workers at every level must also be familiar with the requirements of the local occupational health and safety legislation as it relates to their work.

Our goal is a healthy, injury-free workplace for all employees and workers. Injuries and costly property damage losses can be minimized through good management systems and practices, combined with active employee training, involvement and co-operation in the safety program. By working together, we can achieve this goal.

Commitment to health and safety is an integral part of this organization.
