Bulk Solids Heater

The ALPHA SERIES Bulk Solids Heater was created to heat bulk solids materials utlilizing slow and controlled product flow, indirect plate heating and mass flow technology. 

Indirect Plate Heating

Indirect plate heating, which includes steam, hot water or thermal oil, is then used to flow through the plates to heat the material by conduction.

When indirect plate heater exchangers are used, air is not used during the heating process. Often times when air comes in contact with the materials the risk increases for possible bacterial contamination, odor contamination and product moisture content changes. When an indirect plate heater exchanger is used, this risk is eliminated.
