Bulk Solids

Bulk Solids Heating Process

The product flow is slow and controlled, passing slowly downward between a series of vertical hollow heater exchange plates. Because of the slow and controlled movement of the bulk solids, it produces a superior final product. Abrasion and degradation of the product is prevented, therefore there is no change in the particle characteristics or crystal shape.

Mass Flow

Because of our mass flow design, the product flows with uniform velocity through the bulk solids heat exchanger. This enables even temperature distribution as the product pass through the heat exchanger.

Design & Configuration

With the vertical configuration of our bulk solids heater, the product passes through the vertical heater by gravity. The vertical design makes the heater both compact and modular. It also makes it easier to integrate in existing plants, as well as being ideal for de-bottlenecking, revamps and capacity increase.

Because of the modular design, additional heat exchanger plate banks can be stacked if increased thermal capacity is required in the future.
