COOLING FERTILIZER
The Solex heat exchanger is ideally suited for cooling fertilizer. Since 1992, a wide variety of fertilizer cooling applications around the globe have turned to this patented Solex cooling technology. It’s so widespread because it uses up to 90% less energy when cooling fertilizer compared to competing technologies. There’s also no air involved, which means emissions are eliminated.
The cooling technology works by having the fertilizer pass through the Solex heat exchanger at a slow and controlled rate to prevent product abrasion and degradation, and eliminate changes in particle characteristics. The final temperature of the fertilizer exiting the Solex heat exchanger can also be precisely controlled and predicted. Plus, we especially created our cooler technology for cooling fertilizers while preventing product caking. And the compact design with no moving parts lets you integrate the technology into an existing facility without causing debottlenecking.
