COOLING CHEMICALS
The Solex heat exchanger is an ideal means for cooling chemicals. This cooling technology has been in use in a wide variety of chemical cooling applications since 1992. (See our list of Solex Installations for completed cooling projects similar to cooling chemicals.) When utilizing Solex’s bulk solids cooling technology for cooling chemicals, you’ll actually use up to 90% less energy when compared to competing technologies—a significant cost savings. The Solex heat exchanger achieves this by using no air, which means it also operates without producing any emissions.
When being cooled, the chemicals pass through the Solex heat exchanger at a slow and controlled rate. This eliminates product abrasion and degradation so you see no change in particle characteristics. This process also allows you to accurately control the final temperature of the cooled chemicals exiting the Solex heat exchanger. Moreover, we’ve designed our cooling chemicals technology to operate without any moving parts and offer simple and easy maintenance. Our cooling technology gives you years of low cost and reliable operation when cooling chemicals.
