Years of Experience in Minerals and Sand Heating Applications
Solex has been involved in mineral and sand heating applications world-wide for more than 20 years, and has a team of experts capable of handling the most difficult heat exchange challenges. View a list of some of the mineral and sand companies Solex has served around the world.
Capable of Heating Sand that is Highly Abrasive or Extra Hot
The Solex sand heater technology is capable of heating high temperature sands of up to 2000ºC and can also handle highly abrasive materials. The mass flow design results in low velocities and low bin-wall pressures on the heat-exchangers plates. The combination results in extremely low abrasion of the heat exchanger plates and casing in the sand heater, making it an ideal solution for sand heating.
